New Merchandise:  You must call or email us with your return request in order to receive a Return Authorisation Number. We will issue a refund (less courier charge & 15% product handling fee except when errors are made on our part) for any new, unworn merchandise returned to us in its original packaging.  We must receive the returned merchandise within 14 days of the original purchase.  Please include a completely filled out Return Form when returning any item.  Make sure the product is in its original packaging, and placed it in its original shipping box. Refunds can take up to 5 working days to reflect depending on method of refund and banking institutions.

Defective Merchandise:  If you feel your merchandise is defective, please call or email us with your return request.  If approved, we will issue a Return Authorisation Note for the item.  Please include a completely filled out Return Form together with the invoice when returning any item.  Upon receiving the item, Shikira Safety (Pty) Ltd will inspect and the application assessed prior to issuing a replacement or credit if the item is determined to be defective.  Only goods issued within the last 3 months will be considered.  Only goods used in the right application will be considered as faulty goods.  Misused or neglected goods cannot be returned.   Any Special or Clearance items will not be considered for defective merchandise.   A “Defective Product” is one which contains a material imperfection in the manufacture or design that renders the product less acceptable, useful or safe than reasonably expected, under the circumstances.  A product is in a defective condition if it is dangerous to the user or to consumer, when used in the prescribed way and/or for the purpose for which it was manufactured or designed.  The product must be defective in itself (due to manufacture or design fault) and not damaged due to inappropriate use.

Exchange:  This refers to merchandise being exchanged due to wrong sizing requested by the customer.  Exchanges will be handled by prior agreement, and no merchandise more than 14 days from date of delivery will be accepted.  Invoice number and purchase date must be quoted.  Merchandise must still be in the original undamaged packaging.  All exchanges are subject to a 15% product handling fee.   Please call or email us with your exchange request and once approved a Return Authorisation Number will be issued.  If you exchange for a pair that is more expensive you will be required to pay the difference.  You are responsible for the courier costs on the exchanged merchandise.  Please include a completely filled out Return Form together with your invoice when returning any item
